Hey, in general it was OK, but car was pretty used for me - even for such a cheap one. Main thing was tyres, see attached - bald like Dwayne Johnsons head 😅 even though it was fine, third time I rent a car from Goran and will do it again in future, but maybe something better.

Took on localcarhires.com Audi A3 diesel automatic. When booking, we paid 10% prepayment. We were met at the airport, we quickly issued everything, we gave the keys. The car was served clean. Casco was included in the price. Only a minor side - we asked for a navigator, but they forgot to bring it. But this, rather, from the principle I indicate, because no problem using a phone with gps. 90% of the remaining amount after prepayment was paid in cash upon receipt of the car. And, most importantly, it was not a risk to leave any depositis at all. Which was very cool. Loved the car. Just a superb feeling. Even revised his attitude to the manual transimission. Traveled all over Montenegro, all serpentines, parks, etc. (Fortunately, there were no restrictions on mileage and trips to border countries). We returned the car at the airport. Everything went somehow swiftly and easily - they met us, accepted the keys and, quickly examined the car, said thanks and left. In short, the experience turned out to be extremely positive; in general, no problems arose at any stage. After reading lots of bad reviews from big car rental companies and how they scam people (especially google reviews from Avis), we decided to look for smaller local company, and it was the best choice ever. Our whole trip was an amazing experience which started with renting a car here. Not only it was much cheaper than any other company, we didn't even have to pay a deposit. We were a bit skeptical because of lack of reviews and it all almost sounded too good to be true, but it was real. The communication was great and straightforward. We picked up the car at Podgorica airport. It took couple of minutes and signing one paper and we were sitting in the car on our way for the road trip through Montenegro. We hired Skoda Fabia. The car looked like brand new, it was very clean and it drove really well. Half way through our trip I wanted to add my girlfriend as an additional driver, so I just messaged them on WhatsApp, wrote her details on the contract and it was done, for free. Returning the car was as easy as picking it up, also took only couple of minutes. There are no hidden fees and no lying, just honest people doing a great job. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone who travels to Montenegro.

Car rental prices in Montenegro follow a clear seasonal pattern. Winter (November–March) offers the lowest rates — the coast is quiet and some mountain roads close. Prices climb sharply from June through August as beach tourism peaks, especially in July–August when Budva, Kotor, and Tivat are at full capacity. May and September–October offer the best balance — warm weather, fewer crowds, and lower rates.
